The courses taught at our Eastbourne School will help prepare students for everyday situations where they will speak to people outside of the classroom. This provides them the opportunity to practise their English language skills with native English speakers. Our staff draw on their wealth of teaching knowledge to assist students of all nationalities. We use well tested methods, helping to ensure that lessons are as engaging as possible.
Twin English Centre Eastbourne is ideally located in Eastbourne town centre, a two-minute walk from the railway station, bus stops, the main shopping centre, restaurants and cinemas. The seafront and beaches, museum, parks and theatres are all within ten minutes walking distance.
The main school is in a three-storey building that is part of an elegant group of terraced buildings which date back to the end of the 19th century.
Aside from its bright, comfortable classrooms the school also provides students with a study centre, a small library and a common room equipped with comfortable sofas and a wide screen television.
Students can also buy hot and cold drinks as well as snacks from a small tuck shop. Free Wi-Fi is available. At the front of the building is a terrace with benches where students can sit and relax during break times in fine weather.
Within 100 metres of the school, there is a selection of cafés and sandwich shops serving hot and cold food in addition to light meals at very reasonable prices.
Eastbourne is a beautiful town on the south coast of England, providing an alternative study destination to London, for students who want to learn in a more relaxed environment.

Students studying in Eastbourne will have the option of staying with our friendly and welcoming homestay hosts. This gives them the chance to practise their English in a real life setting, and easily get to school each day.

Twin places great emphasis on finding safe, clean and comfortable accommodation for students. We know this is an important part of a student’s transition to their new life in the UK.
Students that are aged under 18 stay with local host families. For those aged over 18 who may prefer to live more independently, we offer a private home arrangement.
Families are usually within 40 minutes travel time from school on foot or by public transport
Our Accommodation officer or a member of his team visits all our homestay providers regularly to make sure that they meet our own high standards and comply with British Council guidelines.
- Students aged 17 and under can expect to share a room with another student
- The hosts treat the student like a member of the family, eating together and sharing the common living areas of the house together.
- Accommodation is generally full-board (note students on an adult programme that are aged 16-17 may book half-board with parental consent)
- The maximum number of students in the house is 4
- The house is clean and comfortable with adequate heating and lighting
- A comfortable bed and study facilities, with sufficient hanging and drawer space for your clothes
- Fresh bed linen and towels every week
- Access to washing facilities and bathrooms on a daily basis

Students stay with host families and there may be more than four students in the house. The homestay conditions outlined above apply.
They are given a single room unless they request to share with a friend in a twin room.
