UBC offers students a modern university experience with on-site residential accommodation of an extremely high standard. The beautiful UBC campus is surrounded by forest and ocean on all sides, and features some fantastic on-site facilities including an on-site swimming pool and ice hockey rink, a sports centre, the Vancouver Museum of Anthropology, an award winning Arts Centre, the Beaty Biodiversity Musuem (home to Canada’s largest blue whale skeleton), a working farm and the beautiful Botanical Gardens.
Our programme offers students the chance to experience all of the beautiful natural sights that Vancouver and British Columbia have to offer through excursions to locations such as Whistler, Cultus Lake Water Park and the Capilano Suspension Bridge. In addition to the great outdoors, students will be able to enjoy Vancouver as a bustling and vibrant urban centre.
Classes take place in academic buildings on campus. These are a 10 minute walk from the residence. All meals are taken in the cafeteria a few minutes’ walk from the residence. A packed lunch or meal ticket is provided on full-day excursions.
The University campus at our Vancouver centre has buffet-style dining, modern classrooms and great selection of public spaces for students to relax in.
