The course centre also features an indoor sports hall and outdoor sports facilities, including football fields, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts. Learning English at the mountain summer camp of Alpadia Engelberg allows you to learn in a natural and secure environment. Our experienced teachers lead interactive classes, bringing fun into the lessons to help improve learning. They focus on communication to help boost your confidence in speaking English, giving you plenty of real-life situations to use the language. With three modules for learning, Standard, Intensive and Standard + Private classes, you can follow the pace that is best adapted to your requirements.
Learning German at Alpadia Engelberg offers you the chance to learn the language in a beautiful, natural setting. Our dynamic teachers will provide you with the support and know-how required to help you advance your knowledge, boosting your confidence and improving your skills. Immersed in a Swiss-German village, you will have plenty of opportunity to practise your German with the locals, staff and other students. High-quality twin bedrooms are available for our students at Alpadia Engelberg. With shared showers and toilets on each floor, the spacious rooms are situated in a renovated 12th century Benedictine monastery, boasting a modern and comfortable decor, a sink and storage space.

Standard included activities
Weekday afternoons are dedicated to an activity related to sports, arts or culture. Use this opportunity to practise your language skills and have fun bonding with new friends and exploring new activities.

Within the walls of the monastery, this unique cheese factory provides a contrast between ancient architecture and modern cheese-making technology. Still made by hand though, this location provides the chance to taste local cheese and stock up on some regional souvenirs.
